John is the founder of the original company Wakering Supplies back in 1995. This quickly expanded and become Essex Supplies UK Ltd in April 2005. John has a wealth of knowledge in the cleaning and hygiene industry having previously worked for the international Johnson Diversey (now Sealed Air) for 10 years covering the whole of the South East of England.

John’s skilled in sales and customer relations and works with the sales director, sales, purchasing and despatch teams ensuring the smooth running of all departments.

Dan started with Essex Supplies in 1999 and became Sales Director and part owner for Essex Supplies in 2007 alongside John Gosling. Dan started with the company in the trade counter and then working with the delivery drivers and stock control. Dan moved into the sales department in 2001 and has developed excellent customer service skills, providing support, back up and advice on all cleaning issues. Dan will give 100% effort to make sure your order is taken and dispatched correctly. Problem solving and the customers best interest are always top of the list.

James started in our Sales team in January 2009 and has quickly proven himself to be a vital asset to the Essex Supplies team. James offers excellent customer service skills with a wealth of product knowledge making a point to keep up with any new developments with a particular emphasis on greener more environmentally friendly alternatives.

James is our man on the road and is always happy to come to visit your workplace to carry out free site surveys for site specific quotations, machine or product demonstrations, free sample requests or just to pop in and offer any advice or new ideas that may help.

Claire started working at Essex Supplies in 2022 and has already become a vital member of our team. Claire is your first port of call when contacting Essex Supplies with any orders or enquiries. Claire has excellent customer service skills, offers a very personal touch and takes great pride in dealing with customer requests correctly and thoroughly.

Claire also manages our website, this is fast becoming a full time job alone. Claire sets up and updates our customer portals, passwords, wish list’s, pricelists, images and COSHH data sheets.

Our accounts team can help with any invoice queries and payments. They are responsible for statements, copy invoices, processing bank transfers, cheque payments and credit control making sure payments are up to date.

Our friendly and reliable deliverymen and warehouse staff are highly trained to pre pick and prepare all your deliveries from the minute they arrive into the warehouse until they are delivered to your building. Making sure the stock is in good condition before delivering to the area and location you require the goods to be left in.

They are happy to help with heavy items leaving them where advised.
