The Atlas 1 SP10 is our best-selling spinner spreader.
Assembled in house at Peacock Salt this corrosion resistant spreader holds 25kg and is robust enough to deal with all BS3247 certified rock salt, winter de-icing salt and fertiliser (clean thoroughly between uses).
With an adjustable handle, large aperture with flow control mechanism and spread distance of up to 300 centimetre spread width, this spreader will grit you through the worst of UK winters.
Spinner Spreaders enable large areas of ground to be covered with minimal effort. The salt is held in a corrosion free plastic storage hopper and gravity fed onto a spinning distribution disk, which evenly dispenses the salt in a radial motion away from the spreader. Spinner Spreaders are ideal for de-icing driveways, car parks, playgrounds and other large areas where mass salt coverage is required in a short period of time. It has adjustable spread rates and is suitable for use with de icing salt to BS3247:1991. The Atlas is an effective and economical solution to winter maintenance plans.
